Orchid Bay is a 114-acre development with 4,500 feet of oceanfront property owned by Great Land Holdings. It is the first of many planned communities within GLH's Punta Alegre Development. The Punta Alegre Development encompasses all of Orchid Bay as well as over 25,000 feet of oceanfront property directly adjacent to the east. The entire Punta Alegre parcel is triangular with the largest leg as oceanfront on the Bay of Chetumal and the majority of another leg as 7,300 feet of lakefront on high ground overlooking the Barracuda Lake for a total of 3,985 acres. Our founders and world-class architects are finalizing plans to house multiple communities like Orchid Bay with similar and larger amenities such as golf courses, marinas, medical clinics and shopping centers.
